Located 5 km south-west of Caen, this Hotel Ibis is entirely air conditioned and offers modern rooms. It is easily accessible via the A84 motorway, exit 9, 900 metres away. Well located for our journey. The staff were really helpful and considerate. We had a nice conversation at times. We intended to stay for one night . Because of evening meals and good nature of staff , we stayed three nights. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

It was like visiting family friends, they were very kind to wait till 10.30 pm for us to arrive after the ferry reached at 10 pm. You can really feel that they do it for the pleasure of genuinely hosting travellers and exchange good cultural interactions, it is so nice to discover such genuine hosts thanks to booking.com. We were also hosts with Airbnb and were so much like them making guests comfortable and not treating them like just a business transaction. 100 stars for the genuine hospitality

The location was wonderful as a hub for exploring various parts of Normandy. The lodgings themselves were wonderful for a feeling of being “at home “ while traveling. The host was very kind and accommodating- the extra touch of leaving fresh bread and jams / confiture for breakfast the next morning was unexpected. I would definitely recommend this choice and would gladly stay here again!

The Vila was very clean and well maintained and kids friendly, especially the child gate at the stairs at first floor. May be a good idea to use similar barrier at stairs entry to restrict the toddlers to go up on stairs. this will really help parents to leave the kids freely in the apartment and enjoy their vacation. the outdoor was really beautiful with fresh breeze of cold air outside the Vila for a fresh start in morning.
