Everything was perfect and huge, the cost is definitely worth it. It's perfect if you arrive late or if your flight is the next day, the airport it's 15 min away if you walk but it's not necessary since the hotel has free transportation to Terminal 1 & 2 and they ask you beforehand if you require it.
If you don't speak french very well, the staff is well prepared they speak french (obviously), English and Spanish but don't forget to greet them in their own language and be polite, all of them will treat you well.
There's free beverages at the lobby (coffee, juice and water).

Serving France’s third-biggest city, Lyon - Saint Exupéry Airport is located just over 15 miles (25 kilometres) from Lyon itself. The fastest way to reach the city is via the Rhônexpress, a speedy tramway which replaced the historical bus route. Trams leave the airport every 15 minutes and take 30 minutes to reach Lyon-Part-Dieu station.

Right near the airport + highways, close to East Lyon industry and business parks.
On your way to South of France, the location is good too. You can fuel for cheap gas in Netto Pusignan and get some groceries/shopping there.
I recommend, it was a great experience (leisure).

This was a great area close to the airport!
This was a great area close to the airport! We were only there for a day but we enjoyed a medieval village (Cremieu) and some hiking in the woods near some horse farms. I'm sure we would have found more to do if we had more time plus Lyon is right there.

We stayed at Genas as we were attending a work conference exhibition event at the EurExpo facility, so it was excellent. If you were a tourist then perhaps you would like to stay closer to central Lyon town, unless you were travelling by your own car, then the distance out of town would not be a problem

Meyzieu is in a great location for Lyon.
Meyzieu is in a great location for Lyon. Easy to go to town with the tram. Supermarket and bakery a short drive from the property. Location near the lake was great for an evening walk. Tiki au bord de l'eau great for food, service and location. Local sub hire was friendly and a nice thing to do.

The hotel was fine overall.
The hotel was fine overall. Most of the facilities were in good condition, but there were broken windows and worn paint, which made it look shabby. The breakfast was decent with enough options for a quick meal, though there wasn’t much variety. Lunch was similar, basic but sufficient. Unfortunately, we couldn’t use the pool as it was closed, and the room I booked through Booking.com wasn’t the one I received. My reservation included a bathtub and a different view, but I was given a room without a bathtub.
The staff were very friendly and tried their best to understand us, despite their limited English. The location isn’t well-connected by public transport, requiring a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest stop, but it is close to the airport.

Waiting Time is terrible and especially since they don’t filter arrival In/out of Schengen area= as a result you end up waiting ages to go through customs.

The hosts were very attentive and booked us a table at a local restaurant, driving us there and picking us up. Breakfast included lovely home-made jam. Both rooms were very comfortable. The hosts did not speak any English so my schoolboy French got an outing!

We chose the location as the closest reasonably priced place to the Groupama stadium. I wouldht chose this for a weekend in Lyon as its a half hour drive to the centre but if you have reason to be in the location then it is perfect. Quiet, clean, comfortable.
