Everything!! This is an absolutely stunningly designed hotel with topnotch finishing touches. Every member of staff greeted us with warmth and smiles and could not have been more helpful. We had lunch and dinner in the restaurant: absolutely delicious (loved the pink pumpkin dessert!), excellent service, very pretty room. The hallways (bedroom floors) are well lit, wide and attractive (liked the wall sconces). The hotel is just 5 min from Terminal 1.
I have travelled a lot and this hotel is now in the top 5 for me!

The room is beautiful and extremely comfortable, everything was perfectly cleaned. Further, the location is perfect, the train station is right accross the street, the airport, bus and trams were really nearby too. In 5 min we were in the center of Nice, which was really convinient.

Nice and big rooms.
Close to tram, bus and train stops and 10 minutes walk from T1.
There is a washing machine and dryer available in the hotel ironing room, which is very useful for longer stays, too.

Beach location is great.
Beach location is great. Restaurants are plentiful and the CAP 3000 shopping center is impressive in size, design, and variety of retail tenants. It is the French Riviera, so prices of about everything are inflated.

Not much around other than bars and restaurants which were mostly Italians and the others sold pizza and pasta!
Beaches are all pebbled so we went to the private beach clubs to get sunbeds (different prices at each one, so check before booking) or maybe look at buying a deckchair or sunlounger at a local shop, it will definitely br cheaper. Highly recommend the Pennetti Pizza Club on the promenade and Pauls patisserie.
Train station easy to get to and trains very reliable and tickets are well priced. We booked each day through thr trainline app.

The weather was spectacular when we were there in early October. We had a seaview room and the location was really handy to Place Massena and many restaurants. Strolling on the Promenade des Anglais was a daily ritual and we loved the outdoor markets. The town is very walkable and a shuttle runs to the center from the airport, no car needed. It's perfect place to relax by the seaside though the the beach is not sandy. Many interesting and beautiful towns are very close by train for day trips.

It's practically a suburb of Nice. It's very quick to get there by train or bike. Prices are lower than in Nice and the cities. It's not a particularly pretty place and everything is uphill, but you'll be staying among locals.

We stayed in Haut-de-Cagnes rather than Cagnes sur Mer.
We stayed in Haut-de-Cagnes rather than Cagnes sur Mer. Beautiful hilltop village with swifts swooping through the narrow cobbled streets at dusk. In Cagnes-sur-Mer itself, bars and restaurants don't seem to be open all that often? Can be difficult to park in Haut de Cagnes. The village is close to the hubbub of the coast, yet still relatively tranquil.

Nice appears the very interesting and beautiful cultural and historical centre with Provence spirit. Old town and Promenade Angles were my favourite. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops. Really tasty local dishes. Perfect transportation through the town and suburbs. Very easy connected to Monaco, Cannes and other Mediterranean towns. Try the Luna parc rides in the centre of Monaco if you travel with kids. Really love Cote d'Azure any time.

Lovely place, LOADS to do on the see front. Great location with easy access to the motorway which opens up loads of fantastic locations in the area.
Be aware of the traffic. the scooter riders in particular are mental. We've encountered a few quite suicidal I might say. If you're renting a car from the airport, I might say the the extra insurance is worth it. It's almost impossible to find a local car undamaged.

U just gotta go... simple.
U just gotta go... simple. It is such a lovely place - French Riviera as a whole. Beautiful, good food (more Italian influence in their food). Its a perfect vacation spot - you can chill at the beach all day, or food tasting, or perfume sampling or shopping or just explore the Riviera ... your choice.
