Location is great, within walking distance from the airport T1. Google Earth provides a good 3D image of the surroundings, including the walking pathways. (Google street view is much outdated though.)

Holiday Inn Express - Nice - Grand Arenas offers accommodation with a bar and private parking. The location is great, just few mins walking from airport terminal 1. You can easily transfer to Terminal 2 using free red tram. It is also close to the tram station to the city center. The front desk staff is really kind and friendly. He let me to check in early and explained me clearly about how to get the tram to the city center and recommended destinations around the city center. Bed is comfy. Breakfast is also good.

The hotel is quiet and the staff at reception are very friendly and helpful. The rooms themselves are quite clean but maybe a slightly darker, which makes them a little less cosy. The "club" - eating place always provides snacks and tea/coffee for free, which is nice.
