This chalet was wonderful. Very comfortable and nicely furnished. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment for cooking our own meals. There was a generous basket with breakfast items, chips, cookies and milk, juice and cheese in the frig. The bathroom was large and well appointed for seniors/handicapped (although we didn't need this). The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable (if you like a semi-firm). The windows open for fresh air at night. There was plenty of room to hang/put away clothes. There were books and publications with regional information. We had a wonderful stay!

Dorothy was wonderful and ensured everything was well organised, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was fantastic after exploring outdoors on the colder, windier days. A short drive to Kirkwall township in a quiet setting. Highly recommended!

Fiona and Colin were brilliant hosts. The breakfasts are fresh and cooked to order, along with a wide selection of cereals and juices. Our room was spotless and roomy, with a big closet for hanging up rain-dampened clothes. It’s a 20-minute walk to the centre of Kirkwall, or a 6£ cab ride if you’re coming back from the pubs. There is ample parking on the property.

I asked for oat milk and there was plenty. The best coffee I had during my stay in Britain. Lovely fresh fruits. All the ingredients were very good quality. Room 7 is really well lit and ventilated. The kitchenette amenities came in very handy as I was able to drink something hot late at night in my room. I did not mind that the bathroom was outside the room as a bathrobe was provided. Everything is super clean and the guest house is very welcoming. Great vibe. Very warm hospitality.

Great position for exploring Orkney.
