An outside garden area was fenced off for privacy and had loungers, table and chairs, and a barbecue for our use and the host couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful.

The living area with its high ceiling and its windows feels spacious and light. Four people would easily be comfortable; for the two of us it was perfect. The property is very clean, has lots of storage space, good sized beds, plenty of kitchen equipment and two excellent showers. The location was ideal for us - just outside the centre of Stornoway and it was easy to communicate with Rhona, our host. We stayed there for a week and were sorry to leave.

Having our own bedrooms and a kitchen for a few days while we explored the island was just superb. It was great to stay in a proper home in the middle of all the travelling we were doing and we were able to relax and enjoy all the more for it.

The property was nice and clean and well organized. We stayed for a very brief period of time, but it was nice to be able to explore the island from this location and catch the ferry the next day.
