The whole house was full of character and style, without being overwhelming. And Jerry, our host, was not only gracious and helpful, but a man of remarkable talents and interests. His knowledge of the island, its history and geography was outstanding.

Jon was very welcoming and helpful, from letting us leave the bags in the B&B while finishing the cycling the next day, to cooking a delicious dinner for us. The dining room has stunning views over the coastline. I'll be back for sure!

The location is very good and the house is superb - everything you can think of is there. The hosts are very friendly - Jackie was there to welcome us. Whenever I had a question, I texted Dave and he always answered practically immediately. The house has some great features, such as 'slow cooking' stove (but also electrical / microwave if it needs to go faster), an outside bath with seaview (and privacy) that is just the best I've ever been in.

The TV sitting room with the giant window allowed us to enjoy the sunset and a prismatic available let us admire the birds passing by. The available coffee beans and grinder were an extra very welcomed gift
