My stay at Mrs Eleni's villa was really pleasant. It was clear, with sea nearby, near the centre of Corfu and with venetian taste. All the archaeological sites were approachable by foot or by bus. Mrs. Eleni was cheerful,helpful and willing to give me advice for everything. I highly recommend it.

Perhaps the friendliest host we’ve ever come across, the apartment was fully equipped, we didn’t have to buy anything. They even provided food for cooking! It was super clean, next to the airport (no need to wake up earlier to catch a flight!) and just a five minute drive from down town. We highly recommend it.

Conveniently located just 500 metres from the airport and within walking distance to Corfu Town, Hotel Bretagne features free wireless internet access and a friendly, personalised service. Everything OK. Breakfast very good. Person managing breakfast: first class! Cleaning persons two lovely women! Value for money! I must also say that they upgraded my booking from single to double room without even telling me. Think I had the best view of the hotel: balcony over looking green gardens with zero noise!

We were in Corfu for a week and then we went over to northern Greece for three weeks. The people of Corfu were the friendliest. Maybe some of the friendliest I've met. Mr Akis is up there with the best. Here you will see what it's really like to live here. A friendly old neighbour poped over to sit next to us in the little garden with her cigar. Couldn't speak a word of English, didn't overstay her welcome, just sat there for a while then went on her way. We gave Mr Akis our left over Coffee, soap powder, butter etc. and he wanted to invite us to eat with him in return. He brought over some cake his wife had made that day and a few fruits from his garden. He even gave us a lift to the airport in the morning as we were leaving quite early. The apartment is in an old house which is super super clean and not in the slightest musty or damp. Seems to be well equipped but we didn't even have breakfast as we had to leave early. As I said you must stay here it's a lovely experience.
