Maria surprised us with a glass of wine, cookies and fruit juice at arrival. She was always very helpful and responded to our questions in a very short time (we used Viber for communication). The villa was very clean and comfortable, with a breathtaking view to the pool and the lake in the distance. It was close to the airport but noise was not an issue at all. There were air conditioners in each rooms, Maria cleaned the rooms once in our stay (we stayed for 5 days), she even organized my kids' stuffed animals in a cute way on their beds, making them smile.

Very luxury with a nice bathroom and shower. Very comfortable bedroom with a good comfy bed. Supermarkets are very close by, which is a big plus. The great bacony has a great view. 2 small things that could improve the excellent feeling, is a larger bar table (it is now to short to seat at, therefore not comfortable enough to eat your breakfast or dinner) and more comfortable chairs on the balcony. Overall it is big value for money! And the hospitality of the host is a big plus as well!

I actually cut my stay short by one night S l was unwell with a head cold and on my own l would go again but late autumn. It was very hot there, Second wee of June However l feel to take in the full atmosphere of this lovely city autumn would be at its best. It’s very laid back, selection of eateries was good.

Ioannina is a beautiful city with a gorgeous lake and a lovely park. It’s a great base for exploring the stunning surrounding scenery like the Vikos gorge and the mountain villages as well as having excellent restaurants and bars and a ferry service across the lake to the island which is both picturesque and interesting. Made a great start to what then went on to being a beach holiday. I would recommend 3-4 nights in Ioannina.

This place is perfect for any type of person!! You want a calm environment? This is the place for you. Inspiration? The place for you. Nightlife? Also the place for you. (paradoxically) Adventure? The place for you (but rent or have a car, 'cause these places are 1h or more by car, from Ioannina). There is something for everyone. Food is excellent: Our favorite is Nava, this is a Gourmet Restaurant, but they also have Pinsa and burger, etc. (Cocktails are topnotch as well!!). We also loved Balsamico, Arte (in the citadelle/fortress), and Cafe Chevalier (also in the fortress, amazing place to have a healthy drink, amazing coffee with artisanal ingredients, as well as artisanal home-made ice-cream with no sugar. The environment is poetical!). Ioannina is the perfect place for both day and night life. The fact that in the fortress is basically a neighborhood, makes this place even more amazing. It's like a city inside the city. It blew our minds... It's amazing for having a walk (day or night), eat, have a coffee, or visiting museums (the castle). There is also the island on the lake (Nissos) which is absolutely amazing! You get there by taxi-boat (20 minutes). We are seriously thinking of moving there some time soon if life allows :D <3.

Stayed just one night but wished we had stayed longer. Beautiful walks beside the lake. Lovely island on the lake to explore with a fascinating history. Castle area also interesting and very atmospheric especially in the evening. The new town was extremely lively after dark with lots of great shops and restaurants. Highly recommended visiting.

Ioannina is a fantastic vibrant city to visit, many cafes and tavernas to enjoy your stay. The hotel was just great and centrally located. The city come alive after dark and was a joy to walk the streets and side alleys with cafes, eateries and gift shops to please any tastes and desires.
