Hotels near Mykonos Airport - JMK, Mikonos

Asty is a great location, there is a pharmacy and Starbucks across the road, 10mins further up the hill driving is 360 degrees, Zuma, and all the beauty spots alongside by the port. Across the road from the hotel is a straight path that leads you into Mykonos Town, this walk is not for the faint hearted..it’s very steep and very dark at night.

Beautiful place. Lots of bakeries, supermarkets and restaurants with stunning beaches. We ate at Souvlaki Story in Klouvas which was great food. We used the supermarket Flora and bakery next door which was amazing. We also used following: supermarket called Bizarre which is very reasonable, a bakery called Venti and a Crepe takeaway. All other restaurants we ate in were in Mykonos town or Little Venice. Something I didn’t read was the roads are very busy. You need to be a confident driver if you choose to drive in Mykonos.

Beautiful clear water, sand bottom, some fishes, crabs, etc. There is a tavern with nice food, toilet and shower. Also you can order some food/drinks on the beach. There is water sport/entertainments: boats, scooters, etc.

The part of Mykonos island where we stayed was very quiet at night so you could get a lot of rest and relaxation, which was great. We had like a 3-5 minute walk to a beach, a store, and a couple of restaurants. It’s like 5-7 minutes from Mykonos Town or the Old Port where a lot of the main action is so you have to get transported there. We learned that you have to have a class M license yo rent the scooters 🛴 (mopeds). The cars and ATVs are fine to rent with a standard license but the scooters require a Class M or CM(I believe). It’s Grecian law but very disappointing for us lol! We would have been better off with the scooters as they rent them for 24 hours; the cars and ATVs as well but we had a dream of zipping around on the scooter🤗 we know now and I’m sure by the next time we go— I’ll be able to get one 😉 Don’t stay In Mykonos Town if you want peace and quiet. Do stay in Mykonos Town if you want a bustling night life with plenty of dining option well into the morning.

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely place! The location is excellent—very close to the city with easy access to bakeries and shops. Everything I needed was just a short walk away, making it extremely convenient. The accommodation was clean, cosy, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay. What stood out most was the warm hospitality of the family running the property. Despite being a family business, their communication was professional, timely, and friendly, which made the experience even better. It’s clear they care about their guests and go the extra mile to ensure everything is perfect. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and convenient stay near the city.

Location Next visit I would definitely avoid staying in Sunlight Tow N or any accommodation ran by Teo he is a rogue Booking should remove his listings, as he try’s to give people sub standard accommodation not what they book. And what he has on bookings is all fabrication the unit does not provide 15 of the things he lists as part of the accommodation and it does not look anything like the photos which are staged .
