Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts, who picked me up at the port, offered to take me into town, then left goodies in the fridge, brought me spinach pie and apple pie, then took me to the port with a classy “thank you” present. I don’t think that my hosts know the extent to which they helped to lift me in my few days with them. The apartment was spotless and furnished to a high standard. The view from the bedroom of Ermoupoli lit up at night was magical. I especially loved my spacious and comfortable terrace which helped me to relax.
