The hotel is great and the couple that run it are very nice, accomodating, and helpful. Very clean and well maintained rooms and common areas. The pool is also really nice, even though it's a stone's throw away from Μπλε Λιμανακι (Blue Harbour beach) and Maltezana beach, and a few hundred meters away from Plakes. The hotel is conveniently positioned in the middle of Astypalaia, so it's easy to drive west to Chora and drive east to other beaches or Vathi.

Votsalo cuenta con vistas al mar, terraza y wifi gratis. Ofrece alojamiento bien ubicado en Astipalea, a poca distancia de Playa de Pera Gialos, Church of Panagia Portaitissa y Gouerini Castle. The apartment was in a perfect position for us. Whilst it is out of town, there are tavernas and a supermarket very close. Just below the apartment is a great cove with pebble beach. Inside the apartment is very comfortable and the owners make you very welcome, leaving a sweet treat each day. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Highly recommended.

Great location in walking distance from the port and Chora. We enjoyed the amazing view to the castle from the veranda-it is exactly as shown in the photos. Brand new, clean and spacious. Also the parking space was very convenient. The host was very polite and the overall service very professional. We will definitely stay in Ydria if we visit Astypalaia again.
