We had a pleasant stay. The staff are incredibly nice and helped us in every way possible. The rooms are beautiful and equipt with everything you need. Even though the location can seem a bit off there’s still walking distance to nearly everything and with just a short taxi ride you’ll come to Kalamata AirPort and Kalamata city. We really enjoyed it here and will definitely come back.

A clean, big, beautiful house close to Kalamata, far from the hot and noisy city. The house is very big with a nice veranta, 3 huge beds, 2 bathrooms and a big kichen full of services, from a laundry machine to a pharmacy box! Kalamata is a well organized city with parks in the middle of downtown. Great for families with young children. Several cultural events take place i.e. we attended a documentary festival.
The part of the city by the sea has its own life.
During the olive picking period, it attracts many of the olive grove owners, who do not necessarily reside in Kalamata.
The city is very friendly to visitors.Public parking in the middle of the city provides convenient parking.

It is in the ideal location for many excursions in the surrounding area, all the main tourist attractions are within 45-60 mins slow drive

Kalamata is a working city not just a tourist location.
Kalamata is a working city not just a tourist location. It is a great place to discover the Peloponnese from if one does not mind driving. The city's farmers' market was wonderful (Wednesdays and Saturdays).
It has a lot of great restaurants along the beach and the harbor. Walking around Old Town is a great place to spend a morning.

Kalamata is a wonderful, modern greek city. It has a decent population, nice long beach friendly for pedestrians and cyclists. There are also other beaches and seanic spots within an hour of Kalamata. There are ancient historic cites nearby, such as the nearby ancient city of Messene. The city blends a traditional feel in its Old Town, which climbs a castle hill, with modern infrastructure, and hosts cultural events like the annual Dance Festival. Visitors can enjoy a range of activities, from exploring ruins and museums to water sports, hiking, and enjoying the local gastronomy.
