She offers more than just a place to stay, wants to help you have the best stay possible in a natural way: gave us a lovely tour of the city on her ATV (for free), and she offered us rides whenever we were heading in the same direction at the same time, loaned us her own snorkeling gear during our stay when we said we were thinking about renting some, helped us out when we had to seek medical attention (non emergency!), and guided us to the best local restaurants as well as the scuba diving center with which be ended up being very satisfied. She even let us use the kitchen of another at that time inhabited room (ours didn’t have a kitchen) when we were ill at no extra cost, because she genuinely wanted us to feel more comfortable in that situation. On top of her incredible generosity her place had a nice setting in nature with a very “untouched” feel (“live and let live” was her Moto) - so we spent a LOT of ours just relaxing in her garden! Nice to see hummingbirds in the garden and once a sleeping bird on a branch during the night. She also has 2 nice dogs. Even though it had a “nature feel” it was only 10 min walk to the center. Would strongly recommend.

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Hotel Mango Inn is located in Utila, just 500 metres from Playa Chepes beach. It features free WiFi and a tour desk that can organize diving and hiking. I arrived late and in a panic when I realized I left my iPhone in the mototaxi. The staff were able to make phone calls and recover my iPhone. They were really friendly and helpful! Also, I had to leave early at 6:30 am for the ferry and they arranged an early breakfast for me -ready at 6:15. Very accommodating!

Nice comfortable place to stay with a great location. The bar and restaurant offer a good selection of food and drinks and are both chill areas to hang out. The breakfast was good and it was very easy to get cold drinking water and fill up my cooler with ice. The shower had hot water. There was a hammock on the private porch area overlooking the water. Great place to relax.
