We loved the tranquil pool! It's big and only shared between two families, but we didnt even see the other guests. The apartment was spotless clean and modern, kitchen with new supplies, the host very friendly with fluent english. Location is practical: 20min to beaches in every direction, many different to choose. So close to Pula! Would definitely come again

Simply fantastic!
Spacious apartment, clean, and equipped with everything that you need. The owner greeted us in person, he proactively contacted us, gave ample instructions to arrive, very helpful and even had some freshly picket cherries :). Awesome.
The facility is great for family, child friendly, and offering even gym and a common tavernette fully equipped. The gym is really really good, with salty water even!
we will return!
Thank you Oliver for the hospitality and for making our stay really comfortable.

Nice quiet location as a base for a holiday.
Nice quiet location as a base for a holiday. The town is small and relatively unremarkable.
A church and small grocery store are at the heart Of it, from where a number of roads spiral off. We enjoyed dinner at a small taverna one evening, food was good and it had a friendly atmosphere.
If we had been staying somewhere else, Valtura would not be on our list of places to visit as there is not a lot to see or do there.
This is though, exactly what makes it a great location for a quiet holiday base, plus the vicinity to the airport, Pula city and many beaches.

It was private and typically Croatian, it was clean and had all the amenities we needed.
Igor the host was helpful and reliable, it was an honest not top end rental but the pool was well maintained and the house was lovely and clean.

A quiet area.
A quiet area. You can get local products in the neighborhood. Very near to Pula with all its attractions and airport. Also, very near to several other nice destinations, e.g. Medulin, Kamenjak, or a beautiful hindu temple in Sikici.

If you are looking for a quiet location to reload your batteries, than Galizana is a good spot. It is in few km distance to the sea, sea promenade area, city of Pula, and a 30 minutes ride to Rovinj. Being situated at 5 km distance to the sea it makes it a little cheaper than other locations.

Kavran is essentially a cluster of holiday homes and scattered residences. There's no historic town centre, no promenade, and very limited infrastructure. There are a couple of nice beaches there without any crowds.

Marčana is a small and quiet village, we walked their just one evening. All other time we spent on the seaside and in Pula, which was the purpose of our trip to Croatia. Marčana is in the center of peninsular and if you have a car it is very easy to access all beaches and Pula

Interesting city, mixing old roman and modern culture, still has a romantic old town vibe. During end of the year, there are a lot of festive ligths, some concerts, and of course the "fritule" - a must buy street food when exploring Pula.

Small city.
Small city. There is only a tiny store but it is not a problem to get to a nearby city. There is some passing traffic but nothing bad. It is not located right by the sea and you cannot see the sea from there. But beaches and sea are easily accessible by car.

Pula is a beautiful city with a strong Roman heritage.
Pula is a beautiful city with a strong Roman heritage. The Pula Arena is similar to Rome's Colosseum, which was impressive to see. Also, above the Arena there was a peaceful, mesmerizing Church. The rest of the city is also beautiful, with Roman temples and narrow streets.
