Ngurah Rai International Airport offers easy access to Bali’s southern tourist spots, and is just 2 miles (3 kilometres) from Kuta’s resort centre and 8 miles (13 kilometres) from Denpasar. This is a gorgeous, tranquil property, right in the heart of the city. The pools are gorgeous and clean, the room is kitted out with all the amenities you need, the restaurant is a 2 minute walk away and the service and food is outstanding, and affordable. Loved every minute, we will be back!

The beach was very disappointing, we were there in August 2023 and I don't remember the beach being so dirty with rubbish as it was this week. The amount of litter was out of control - definitely will only be a 1 night stay close to airport from now on.

I’ll probably only stay in Seminyak going forward as there is everything you need there. Restaurants are good, traffic is bad, beaches are full of rubbish but hotels and villas are great.
It’s easy to get grab or Gojek taxis so it’s easy to get around and cheap.
Lots of circle k’s so easy to get drinks and snacks.

Great city to explore... wish we would have had more time to look around. Everyone we met or talked to were very friendly and kind. Highly recommend. Be prepared to spend time in a vehicle as the traffic is a challenge at best. We went to one of the local malls, enjoying it immensely.

The last time I was in Kuta was 6 years ago and I did notice some changes. The beach is not as nice as it used to be. I was looking to shop so this was not a problem. I think that Kuta offers the best shopping.

Legian is very central place in Kuta . Very crowded and packed with budget hotels and bars. For night life is good and also for those seeking street life experience. If you want resort style vacations the place is not convenient. A problem in Legian is the traffic and the narrow roads. Be prepared to be stuck if use a car to move around

Care required not to be ripped off on sunbed costs; 100-150k for a day then further along can get for < 50k.

It was easy to get around but little to do nearby. A great turtle conservation centre that will keep most people occupied for up to an hour. It's very easy to get to the ports - one of the best port experiences I've had in Bali where you aren't overwhelmed by people trying to / demanding they order you taxis or sell you things.
