The room was extremely comfortable and well equipped and the staff friendly and helpful. They can organise excursions to local places of interest and there's a free airport shuttle. Down on the sea front you will find locals taking advantage of the many food stalls selling tasty dishes at super cheap prices. Even if you don't eat there it's fun to stroll along the promenade and take in the scene. I didn't try the hotel restaurant as I ate outside but the breakfast was superb. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Red Doorz. It is a good, low budget hotel. The location was fabulous and on the water front, and we had easy access to the heart of the town on foot. We had an amazing view from our window over the water. Walking distance to warungs, fast food and coffee unlike more expensive hotels up the hill. Whilst I agree with previous reviews that linen was stained, it was obviously clean and freshly laundered, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had hot water, and the aircon worked well. Would definitely choose again.
