WiFi was working very good (they have few different ones). 2 swimming pools with view on the sea, and the breakfast was sensational. Hot water in the shower. An open wardrobe so you can easily store your stuff. We were there while they didn't have other guests so it was super nice.

We had a house all to ourselves + the garden. It was a beautiful Balinese styled house, with gorgeous wooden furniture. The bed was really comfortable. Unlike many other mosquite nets, this one made the bed feel more cozy rather than claustrophobic. Breakfast is also amazing and you can have coffee or tea at your discretion. It was really, really great and we would stay here anytime.

Everything is well designed in detail even with a Mykonos-style windmill and beautiful gardens. Must stay here if you come to Maurere. Great, bright rooms, modern good bathroom, good aircon, quiet lication. And also good wifi. Very welcoming staff and a very nice manager who reallt cares about his guests and can give tips, arrange a shared taxi and help to get an "ojek" (motorbike taxi) or rent motorbike. We enjoyed also the delicious breakfast with great choices and home-made marmelade and fresh fruits. Dinner in restaurant excellent, too, with reasonable pricing. They offer also cold beer. And they had a library with german books. There is a beach nearby (15 min walk) , east of hotel. Ok for swimming at high tide. Also nice for beach walk and beach has a beach-side cafe open at day-time. Ojeks and minibuses (normally crowded) go along the road , one does not need own transport.

HAPPY DIVE RETREAT fka Ankermi Happy Dive apresenta uma piscina exterior, jardim, uma área de praia privada e terraço em Hitokalak. We had a very comfortable stay at the bungalows — clean, cozy, and with breakfast included each morning. While there are small corals just in front of the resort for a quick snorkel, the real highlight is the stunning reefs reachable by boat. Claudia organizes daily trips, making it super easy to explore the area — perfect for both snorkelling and diving. Another unforgettable experience was the walking trip to Egon Volcano, which is nearby. The views were incredible and absolutely worth the hike.

Cassabonelly situa-se em Maumere e dispõe de comodidades de desportos aquáticos. Apresentando serviço de quartos, este alojamento também dispõe de restaurante e terraço. A bit outside of Maumere (about 20-25min by bike, 30 by car), so nice and quiet except directly on the road so there was traffic noise. The fan in the bedroom was nice for keeping airflow but just wish we had another blanket (we could have asked earlier but at night there were no staff around). The staff were super nice and helpful and moved us to a better room. Online only the deluxe double (room with 2 double beds) was available but there were rooms on the water with just 1 double bed so maybe WhatsApp them for availability as opposed to booking online. Not many people around so the staff close up around 6pm unless you’re eating dinner. Not much for snorkeling that we saw, but maybe if you swim out a bit. Right on the shore is mostly rocks. Beds: had a mosquito net if you are into that. A little too soft for us but great pillows and clean and comfortable. Bathrooms: Hot water! Like super hot. Our first true super hot shower in a week! Great water pressure and clean and nice. All around a great stay along our journey around Flores. Great sunset spot!! Beautiful!

The seclusion and remoteness was the appeal for us and it was everything we hoped for. Our arrival was delayed due to very strong winds and Virginie the host/owner was incredibly helpful in making alternative arrangements for us. Virginie is also a talented chef and we loved trying local Flores dishes as well as her European cuisine. We really enjoyed the diving with Antone, stress free and some beautiful macro as well as impressive giant fan corals. Visiting the villages on the island was also a highlight. The resort is very comfortable, lots of places to lounge and relax. It’s an island paradise and lucky are those who make the trip. Thank you for everything Virginie and Antone, this holiday will stay in our hearts and we look forward to come again.
