We arrived an hour and a half early due and asked for early check in which was granted. The Family Room was very spacious, in the words of our Kids the best Family Room ever!! Breakfast buffet was exceptional, great variety of food, our 3 kids absolutely loved it especially the pancakes with chocolate:) The pool was spacious and lots of extras, floats, arm bands etc.. The bubble pool for the kids went down a treat (it was like their own little mini Jacquizz) while their dad relaxed in the Steam Room and Sauna. Requested a late check out as older boy was running a temperature the night before and needed the extra sleep, again this request was granted. Dad was then able to take the other two down to the pool so they didn't miss out on their morning of swimming.

Comfiest bed we've stayed in the whole trip. We wish we could've stayed longer and can't wait to come back. The breakfast was fantastic and we felt like we were staying in a castle.

Margaret, Martin and their family were very welcoming on arrival and made us feel right at home. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable beds with ensuite. Margaret communicated regularly in advance of our stay to make sure everything was lined up. Martin was very kind to drop us into Oranmore which is a vibrant town just outside Galway City. We had nice food and a few beers in a few local pubs where there was a great atmosphere. I highly recommend 'Amalfi' Coast Road.

Spotlessly clean - bright and airy - beautifully decorated - breakfast was tasty and plentiful Ann and Michael were splendid hosts. They guided us on our drive through the Connemara county which made our day!

Lovely accommodation, looks like it’s recently been renovated with a beautiful kitchen and en suites. Although a wee bit out from Galway, it was in a beautiful location.

Otherwise property is part of a former castle ruin that was restored with great attention to detail. The accommodations are not in the castle building which is a museum. An additional building was erected to complement the available room potential that was part of the out houses of the castle. This new building was created to a very exacting standard to recreate the atmosphere that is modern but historical. Breakfast was included in our room and was continental with fresh berries, cereal, breads, Jogurt, coffee and was to a high standard. The dining or breakfast room is a charm with furniture that perfectly fits to the property atmosphere. A lack of a room rubbish bin was a problem but was solved on request. The property is across from a well kept Franciscan Friary ruin and has walkways direct beside the adjacent Clare River. It’s a great place for kids too as 1) they are welcome and 2) the ground are quite large and filled with either Art objects or flowers and greenery. During our stay the neighbours cat showed up!
