Built in 1793, Carrygerry is a charming country house on Ireland’s scenic County Clare Coast. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We had a wedding to attend nearby and returned late and they stayed up to let us in. We both liked the beautiful countryside setting and the property, while it has upgraded amenities, has lots of character.

This studio apartment is close to Shannon airport, and the owner is delightful. Having been diverted from LHR, we booked a night at this property. When Judith discovered we were there inadvertently, she kindly offered to collect us from the airport. There were scones and jam, which is a lovely gesture, and the shower is excellent. We told Judith we were going to Durty Nellie’s, a famous pub near by, and she went out of her way to drop us off there as it was raining. So helpful, we were really grateful. She couldn’t have been more welcoming. Thank you Judith, you’re the best!

Treacys Oakwood Hotel, Shannon is located in the heart of Shannon’s town centre, next to the Skycourt shopping centre and only 5.1 km drive from the Shannon Airport. The rooms were spacious, and I highly recommend dining at the hotel restaurant the food was delicious. The location is convenient, with shops within walking distance.

Shannon Castle Holiday Cottages - Type D by Trident Holiday Homes, a property with a garden, is located in Ballysteen, 27 km from St. Location was exceptional and property could not have been better positioned for views. Full of character, in excellent condition, quiet, all you could ask for onsite. Host was approachable and very helpful.

Shannon Castle Holiday Cottages Type B by Trident Holiday Homes, a property with a garden, is located in Ballysteen, 27 km from St. Location was great, Castle in the back yard, Shannon River at the fence and the Airport just across the river. Was great sitting out the back with the view and watching the minimal planes in the air. Having a Washing Machine and Dryer on site was a massive bonus.

Shannon Castle Holiday Cottages Type C by Trident Holiday Homes, a property with a garden, is located in Ballysteen, 27 km from St. A gorgeous location, so quiet and peaceful with lovely views of the castle and out over the water. The hosts were so kind and friendly, it really felt like home from home. We stayed for 3 weeks while waiting for our new house to be ready and the property provided everything we could possibly have needed.

Cosy Room is set in Shannon, 19 km from Thomond Park, 20 km from King John's Castle, and 20 km from The Hunt Museum. Very nice apartment, everything was clean and tidy, clean bed and fresh towels. When I asked for a late checkout, the owner agreed without any questions. I highly recommend this accommodation in Shennon, for this money in Ireland it is very difficult to find good accommodation. Thanks to the owner for the hospitality.

Located in Shannon and only 6.7 km from Bunratty Castle & Folk Park, Balally House provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Warm and friendly welcome from Dawn. Beautiful house with spacious room. Comfortable beds. Tea/coffee room available. Lovely breakfast provided with options to choose from. Short drive to Bunratty castle and Durty Nellys pub. Highly recommend Balally house.

Very friendly fast efficient check in with simple room directions. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room. ,217 in my stay. Nice fresh comfortable bed with more than enough pillows lol 😉. Breakfast was buffet with plenty choice. I don't drink alcohol but the bar was lively and buzzing. This hotel has cracked how to offer quality efficient friendly value service. Thanks all.
