My need was to spend just a night to catch my early morning flight, the airport is few meters away, you don't need a vehicle to reach airport if you are traveling light as you can pull your trolley and walk away. This is a new hotel and all the furnishings and fittings are pretty new, staff are courteous. There is a small restaurant in the basement where basic food can be had and prices seems reasonable considering the closeness to the airport. Bed was pretty good, AC, bathroom, wi-fi, all were perfect.

I have been coming to Jaipur for 36 years - perhaps 15 times. I love jaipur though now it is very crowded. I visit friends in town and stay one night only in hotel as after first night I stay with friends in nearby village. I encourage tourists to go an visit a village away from the city if they have time. perhaps just take a bus and walk around. peaceful and friendly.One problem I had was to find money changing facilities. Perhaps hotel could find agent who will change.

Kanota itself is a busy town by the main highway. It is a fair drive (45 mins) from the major Jaipur sightseeing spots. There is a supermarket, liquor shop & many small shops a short walk from the hotel. We saw no other tourists during our stay & were quite an oddity for the locals! There may be local sights to visit but they were not advertised / sign posted & we never found them. In hindsight, we would have been better to stay the extra 2 nights in Jaipur itself.

As a city it's really good but the shopkeeper / vendors/ guide / auto and cab drivers are just ready to loot / rob you.
You need to bargain a lot for everything as most of the thing here is just 10x overpriced.
This city also has a lot to offer in terms of heritage, history, Rajasthani food, Rajasthani music and culture.

Jaipur is a good place to visit but there are some do's and don'ts u need to take care of :
Always go for a group trip because jaipur isn't a place for solo trip as the management there including police etc isn't friendly or even respectful.
There you wil have to face some challanges if got in an unexpected trouble therefore prefer group trips.
There are many places to visit but go for the forts before palace's and temples.
As Forts are in more distance comparatively.
At the end do not forget to make memories and enjoy ur trip to the fullest!
