We couldn't do much but we plan on visiting them again to really participate in everything they have to offer. They even organize heritage immersion trips for kids, and that really blew my mind. If I'd had the opportunity to do something like this as a kid, I'd be a lot more connected to my roots today, I think. What makes this place different is that it is filled with the most beautiful stories of people who have lived in the area. Pradeep Chakravarthy, the owner, has so many stories to tell, recounting spending vacations at his ancestral home and a coconut tree climber's escapades and how government policy reshapes lives are only two of many stories infusing life, music and joy into the walls of the beautiful house that's now been turned into the hotel.
