It took about 10 minutes to get to the “Al Qibla” entrance of the Haram. 10 seconds to get on the main road leading to that entrance with beautiful shops on the way. There is large grocery market about 200meters opposite direction of haram on main road for all your needs 2. Comfort and Cleanliness: soft and clean towels. Great mattresses with soft down covers and pillows. Beds also had a remote control for adjusting back and legs. Remote control blinds. Safe box. Clean bathrooms with all necessities (showel gel, shampoo, toothbrush etc). Slippers. USB plugs. Many storage areas and more. 3. Staff, Service and Reception: Exception, welcoming, knowledgeable, always available. 4. Food: 10/10 highly recommend getting their dinner. Variety of drink to choose from. All kinds of salads, spread, meats. Literally a feast. Nothing missing. 5. Transport: They dont provide any help booking rides or cabs but they are always nearby offering rides to airport Kufa, Karbala, Kadhimiya or Samarra. Much better prices than you can find in Baghdad. People in Najaf are honorable, trustworthy, honest and warm hearted. You will always be helped. Although there are many narrow and dark streets the city is safe 24/7 and most shops are always open.
