The entire kitchen had high dollar appliances which were great to use. The kitchen overall was exceptional. The house has so many antique items. The house was huge. It was great to have a chance to spread out around the house. Everything was comfortable and top notch!

Situated just off Iceland's Ring Road, these self-catering holiday homes and apartments feature free WiFi and a kitchenette or fully equipped kitchen. Akureyri town centre is 800 metres away. The place is very hotel-like, so everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided, but in a basic version. A nice thing was the dishwasher and a supply of tablets. I didn't expect the terrace to have so great view! The place has efficient heating and also the windows on the sunny side so it can get very warm, but when you want to open the windows a bit of flies fly in, but this is a specific of all the area. Generally - we would rent again and I recommend for rental.

The apartment was very spacious, with the kitchen, dining, and living room connected in one large open area. There were two comfortable bedrooms and a rather small bathroom (compared to the rest of the apartment). The kitchen was fully equipped (cleaning sponges provided), and we had everything we needed to prepare simple dinner and breakfast. The Nespresso machine made good coffee, and the large dining table was a great bonus. The decor is quite unique – a mix of modern elements in a traditional building – which we really liked. Plenty of towels and toiletries were provided. The area is very quiet, and there was a free parking space right in front of the building. It’s not in the town center, but easily reachable on foot. The owners sent us all the necessary information about our stay and responded quickly to additional questions, including those about the Wi-Fi connection. We would definitely book again – it was a lovely stay.
