This family-run hotel enjoys a countryside location by Road 93, overlooking central Egilsstadir, 2 km away. Free WiFi access in the lobby and garden views can be enjoyed. This was the best, most friendly hotel we stayed in our 10 day trip around Icelands Ring Road. We were given a friendly welcome by the owner a family run business . It was first class. The location is outstanding , in such beautiful grounds . An excellent room so comfortable and quiet. An excellent breakfast .

The kitchen was really well equipped. We had a good parking spot right in front of the house. Nice quiet area in the living parts of the town. We came to enjoy the Vök baths (really great place) and ended up in an extreme snowstorm. We got an experience of a lifetime in the canyons near the town.

Ormurinn Cottages is located in Egilsstadir. Free WiFi access is available throughout the property. The accommodation is very comfortable, charming, and its spot on the lake is just amazingly beautiful. The owner was very kind and helpful to let us check in a little earlier. I highly recommend this place.

It was one of the best places we stayed in during our vacation. The place is incredibly clean, including rooms and shared spaces. Rooms are spacious and cozy, the beds are super soft. The kitchen was equipped with everything for comfortable cooking, you literally can cook anything you like at this kitchen. Every detail in this guesthouse has been carefully considered. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
