Clean and spacious public area, not far from the gas station or supermarket (with a car). The kitchen is well-equipped with a dishwasher. And perchance, a super friendly cat would come to greet you. Last but not the least, the owner of guesthouse is very nice and kind, he helped us when we had a situation with our car on the morning of check-out. It is always good to have a reliable and contactable host when one travels in a foreign land.

Ormurinn Cottages is located in Egilsstadir. Free WiFi access is available throughout the property. The Staff is very friendly and helped us in every Situation. We had to stay two days longer due to the weather and is was made possible without any hesitation.

The whole place was very clean and there is a very well equipped kitchen with everything you need (coffee, tea, toaster, kattle, fridge, plates, cutlery, etc). The location is amazing with a great view to the lake.
