Yard games in the cupboard, and heater in the patio. Birds were common and close (including Ptarmigan), and foxes could be found a short drive away at the right time of day. Close to whale watching and scenic sights in Myvatn. Bilberry growing in the yard in the right season.

Some units have a seating area and/or terrace.... Spotless clean, super comfy beds and pillows, EVERYTHING is thought through, including extra blankets and pillows. This was our best stay in Iceland thus far. The room was comfortable with a table outside and a view to a waterfall. We stayed later than any other during our visit to Iceland. I highly recommend staying here.

Located in a historic house in central Húsavík, Árból Guesthouse offers free parking and free WiFi access. Whale watching trips depart from Húsavik Port, only a 5-minute walk away. The room was very nicely decorated. The common room had coffee/tea supplies and was very cozy. Most of all the host was incredibly friendly and helpful. It was an absolutely wonderful place to stay.
