A beautiful and clean apartment with all the amenities for a short stay. A full kitchen and spacious bathroom. The beach is a short walk through the trail and there is a shop right in the corner that's open until midnight for any late night needs. I was able to find a parking spot close to the building every night during our stay. I was a little worried about noise due to its proximity to the domestic airport but that turned out to be a complete nonissue. The owner was great and made sure we really enjoyed our time in Reykjavik.

We recently had the pleasure of staying 4 nights at Edda’s SK52 by the Sea, Unique spacious luxury airbnb, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The property was impeccably clean, beautifully & very tastefully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully considered to the smallest details, making it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect—conveniently situated near Reykjavik (10mins drive) and was a great location to kickstart all our sighting tours/drive to the Golden Circle, and the other parts of southern of Iceland. One of the highlights was the spacious bathroom, which was a real luxury—plenty of room to unwind and relax after a day of exploring. The kitchen island was another standout feature, perfect for both cooking and socializing. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring we had restful nights and woke up refreshed and to a great view each morning. Free parking, with it's close proximity to our stay is a huge bonus. Edda, our host, is the most gracious and generous person ever. Her warm hospitality made us feel right at home. She was incredibly responsive, attentive, and yet provided us with all the privacy we needed. We could not ask for anything more. The hotel is very cosy and is located 3 minutes walk from the central bus station. It's very convenient if you're planning to travel somewhere with bus excursions as some of them depart from there. Also, the buses from and to the airport arrive and depart there. It’s also around 10 minutes’ walk to the downtown. Additionally, it’s around 15 minutes’ walk to the hotel from which other excursions start from. So, the location is exceptional. It’s very quiet around. The kitchen had all we needed to cook and make tea. It’s very warm in the house and room. The batteries are getting extra hot if you put on a high level. So, it’s possible to sleep with open window to get fresh air and still not get cold. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. It was very easy to take the keys from the lock box. The instructions were very clear and we didn’t have any problems with this. The house has 2 toilets, so even though all rooms were occupied we were never standing in any queues to the toilet. Some extra towels are provided in the bathroom just in case as well as some hygiene stuff for free. The room was big and spacious. The fact that it’s a ground floor doesn’t matter as the room is still very bright. Also because of having the window on the “top” of the room it was possible to see the birds jumping on the grass just in on the eyes level. Quite interesting experience. I would recommend this apartment a lot as it’s great deal for this price.

Great location near the main transport route and just a few steps from the city center. Perfect amenities. Easy and free parking. The only thing to get used to is that the apartment is more or less on the ground floor, and the windows are large. So, you need to be aware that if you open the vertical blinds, the apartment might be visible from the street. I can recommend the stay.

This family-run guest house, 500 metres from Reykjavik Bus Terminal, is a 45-minute bus ride from Keflavik International Airport. Great staff, got us checked in super early cause our flight got changed so we were very grateful
