Beautiful house with very well equiped kitchen. Big bonus - hot tubs outside plus beach in front, where we took a cold dip to the sea. What is more, there are extra towels and even swimming suits in a bathroom which you can use for hot tubs, in case forgot your own.

The guesthouse exceeded my expectations. It was comfortable, modern. Each window opened up a wonderful view of the surroundings. A perfect place for a peaceful stay in nature, but about an hour away from tourist spots like Myvatn and Husavik. We had all we needed and enjoyed our stay.

The cabins were comfy, modern and in a great location with big views. It was only a few minutes drive to the small supermarket and cafe as well as the Visitor Centre. The host was friendly and helpful.

A good location for a relaxing stay in Vopnafjörður, Ásbrandsstadir Cottages is a holiday home surrounded by views of the lake. The cottage had everything you could need - a shower with great water pressure, a comfortable bed, a well-equipped kitchen, blackout curtains, and more. We were really happy to stay here and would definitely recommend it, even if it takes a few extra miles to get there! 😊
