Great location 5 mins walk from the airport. very easy self check in. Fabulous cleanliness, comfortable bed and availability of everything you need. I stayed one night before an early flight and very happy with the choice. The host sent instructions on how to check in on messeger where he also answered questions - no problems. I also easily walked to the centre of Pisa in 15-20 minutes, which is definitely a plus.

Valentina was a great host. She welcomed us and showed everything we know. She offered pushbikes for us to use which was a nice surprise. At our check out, she gave us lift to bus stop which was so helpful cz its about 15mins walk and our bags was heavy and was too hot to walk. She may needed to go in town anyway but she waited for us which was kind. Definitely recommend this place to stay if you want to be a little out of town.
This is a wonderful historic city that can easily be covered in a day if you're short of time. You will obviously need to allow more time if you're planning to climb up the Leaning Tower of Pisa and visit other nearby attractions. Make time to take in the sunset from Piazza dei MIracoli. Mura di Pisa is a less known attraction which we were recommended by our wonderful guide during a walking tour of the city. We were short of time but still walked half the distance and back. It was definitely worth it. Allow about 2 hours to have slow paced walk the entire length for panoramic views of Pisa. Keith Haring's famous last mural is very popular but there's also a rather clever, not-to-be-missed mural of Galileo Galilei located very close to the train station. If you have more time, you can also plan a visit to nearby Lucca for some history, highly 'instagramable' spots and a better choice of authentic Italian restaurants compared to the numerous tourist traps in Pisa.
Food is good, and the area around the tower is very nice; however, the city is quite small, traffic is heavy, and taxis are expensive. You could wait more than half an hour for a taxi, as they are always busy, and ride-hailing apps do not work very well. Only Uber Black is available, so expect to pay over 40 euros for short distances and experience long wait times. In my opinion, one day is more than enough to visit the city. There aren’t many hotel options, and most are small residential style hotels with only a few rooms. These accommodations are often not very clean, air conditioning usually doesn’t work, breakfasts are generally poor, and service is very limited.
I liked Pisa more than I was expecting. It is a very old city with a nice atmosphere and lots of history. The area around the tower is very pretty and well maintained. There are lots of restaurants in the local area and plenty of more choice of cuisine in the rest of the city, if you are prepared to seek them out. The area around the tower is very crowded at all hours of the day, but then that's what everyone comes to see and take photos of. Pisa is an easy city to walk around and the streets seemed safe, even late at night. The city is very easy to get to from the airport, the PISMOVER monorail into the city is fast and relatively well priced. The tower is then about a 20 minute walk from the station through a very attractive cityscape. We also visited Lucca, about 30 minutes by train from Pisa Central Station. We can recommend it for a daytrip from Pisa. Another beautiful and historic city.
Lots to see in the main square. As well as the Leaning Tower, there is the Baptistry, Cathedral and the possibility to walk the length of the old city wall. There are also some interesting museums etc. It's very nice to walk along beside the River Arno.
Apart from the Leaning Tower and the other wonderful places in the Piazza dei Miracoli there are many other places of interest to visit and see. Being flat it is very easy to walk around the city without needing access to transport. From the central railway station it is easy to make day trips to places like Lucca and Florence. Because it is a university city there are lots of young people around so the city is very lively.
