Coffee in room came in handy for 3;40 am check out for early flight. Walk to airport was well lit and took 17 minutes.. Took the 16€ bus from Trieste cruise terminal to Trieste Airport (booked through cruise line) then walked to Tiamo. Way better value than taxi.

This hotel is super convenient if you have an early flight out of Trieste or a very late arrival. The hotel staff was very kind, efficient and friendly. Parking is right next to the hotel and free! When we arrived exhausted from a busy sightseeing day in Trieste, we were able to have a delicious and reasonably priced dinner in the hotel dining room. Plus, football/soccer on the TV while we ate. :). We were very well cared for by the hotel team - as if we were guests in their own homes. The hotel room was very clean with the no frills, basics of what we needed for a good night's rest. We did not need an advanced degree to figure out the lights in the room or the air conditioning- which we appreciated. If we fly in or out of the Trieste airport again, we would definitely stay here.
