Kakamega is a small town and it’s cosmopolitan with good entertainment spots that offer a relaxing experience, Signature club at the town center is quite good and easy to access, the sports club has great food and golfing experience but accessible to members only or reciprocating member clubs. It’s got a university not far, as such getting company for the solo traveler isn’t a hustle, many accommodation facilities available in and on the outskirts, Kisumu is 40 mins away as such commuting to or from kisumu is easy with frequent shuttle service available.

The size of the room was excellent.
The size of the room was excellent. The meals at the restaurant were fresh, tasty, and good for healthy living. At least they heeded my request for a diet for someone living with diabetes. The lighting in the room needs improvement. You can't switch off the lights from the sleeping side; instead, they have provided a rechargeable light, which I believe serves also for emergency lighting when there is a power interruption. The section of the road leading to the hotel from the tarmac needs improvement.
