First off, the staff at this hotel are exceptional, everyone you meet is happy, positive and goes above and beyond your expectations of quality service. The club room option, while a bit expensive, is an incredible experience. There is access to a members only lounge and swimming pool, so you are guaranteed a quiet, relaxed space to enjoy food and drinks. We practically had the place to ourselves, including the chef. The food was fantastic and varied daily, prepared by the excellent chef Steven and his assistant Daglas, who are both absolute gentlemen. The service we got was so good, we made a list of names of the staff who made our stay most memorable. Doreen, Caroline, Andy and Alex running the lounge were always on hand, with a drink, for a chat, a laugh and to share some local knowledge with us, they made every meal time a joy. Jack looked after our room and was on call at any moment to get us whatever we needed, he is an extremely nice, friendly person and a great ambassador for the Sarova brand. Veronica doing entertainment and games is full of positive energy and always greets you with a big smile, creating a lovely, fun atmosphere around the place. Upon arrival, we were met by the wonderful Ruth, who can organise and fix anything for the guests,, she is an amazing person and really enhanced the experience of our visit. And last but not least our guide for the game drive, Daniel, being a Masai he has great knowledge of Masai Mara, where best to see the big 5, and all the other incredible animals and birds, we had an amazing time with him as our guide. I honestly can't speak more highly about the place and all the staff we met were amazing, just the list above are the people who we spent the most time with. There's a nice, relaxed, happy atmosphere to the place with a genuine commitment by everyone to ensure you have the most amazing experience possible. We will 100% be back!

Camp is in a perfect location right in the middle of beautiful Sekenani village yet close to the Narok highway and Sekenani entry gate to the Masai Mara National park. Paul who is the owner of the camp is a kind hearted person and entire staff treated us like family. We had certain dietary restrictions and they have provided full access to their kitchen where we could prepare our own food. Paul is an excellent guide with great expertise in game drivers and animal tracking. He know where to take while to game driver to have best animal spotting.

Leruk Maasau Mara camp is a very unique experience. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and the nights at the campfire together were amazing. The trip we did with them to Masai Mara park was very well organized, the guides know the park and were able to show us amazing things. Additionally, we visited the local village, which was very interesting to see. We will come back!

The owner was waiting for us, as It is pretty far from Nairobi, but you can also fly to Masai Mara. But this is meant to experience the local life to the fullest, so it comes with everything included. Experience the 'Masai life', the owner will accommodate you with other needs, but communicate them in advance; if you want breakfast and what, he can organize your day, and he is very resourceful. Also knows some local hang-out places which are way cheaper than the traditional tourist resorts. A thing to do is to go eat with him a local national food, a grilled goat, nyama choma, eat from same plate together with by using the hands and connect with your rental manager on a different level.

Levis welcomed us really lovely and offered us a great stay with a delicious breakfast with pancakes, French toasts, eggs, avocado and fruits. Also the typical Chai was fabulous. The rooms were clean, with a Moskito net, furnished solid and with love. The kitchen is available to use by the guests and the shower has warm water. Levis was devoted to providing us with the best service. He was always available but gave us the private space we needed. One of the activities they offer is to visit the Maasai Mara village, which is close to the house. The other one is a nature walk, showing the sourounding farming and it's a big recommendation. If you want Levis could be also your excellent private tour guide for the national park close by. All in all Kanunka house is a place where you can feel home.

    Keekorok is in fabulous location.

Keekorok is in fabulous location. Especially for Game Drive just outside of camp you Will see many animals. Exactly outside of your room you can walk around and enjoy with Garden and swimming pool and walking toward the Hippo pool takes 5 minutes. Staff were excellent. Sometimes during the day the power went out. And another things which I have to mention the quality of food can be much better. If you pay for full board Drinks not included even water.

Beautiful ensemble. Central location in Maasai Mara. About 1 hour to Mara River. The hotel needs a general renovation and is too expensive for what it is offering. Poor breakfast and coffee and only fair dinner.

Staff and location are exceptional, but you get what you pay for. Rooms need an overhaul and definitely a lick of paint. Food was OK, buffet style, but dining is exceptionally busy and waiting/moving can be a bit of a pain
