He is responsive on WhatsApp and extremely resourceful — from arriving by night buses, to whether bicycles are available or not, to arranging tuk-tuks and a van ticket to Vang Vieng.

The location of the guesthouse is just behind the street that forms the city center. The room is modern and except the shower, the room was fine - it's clean, spacious and has a cosy bed. The AC was new but depending on the travel time it is not needed, as during my stay, the temperature was between 13° in the night and 25° during the day. They also offer free coffee and tea in the morning. On one day, I went on a tour to the Plains of Jars. It was a private tour, as there were no other people on that day. Thus we went by motorbike. Mr. Souk, the guide, was really knowledgeable and it was an interesting day. While the tour felt a bit pricey, I still think it was worth the money. In the end, they also organized my transport to Luang Prabang.
