We heard this hotel was newly built, and we truly enjoyed our stay from start to finish. The big, comfy beds were a dream, and the staff’s generosity and warm smiles every time we walked in made us feel instantly welcome. The location is perfect — there’s a beautiful lake right next to the property, and it’s just a couple of minutes away from the park. The breakfast spread is absolutely to die for, with something delicious for everyone. Overall, we felt our money was very well spent at Waters Edge Hotel. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a wonderful setting.

Shalom Villa is a home away from home. Nilu and Iresh make you feel welcome right away and help you with all your travel needs. The guesthouse is away from the noisy and bustling center, but within easy reach using the PickMe App for inexpensive and fast transportation. Coffee and tea are always available and shops are in close vicinity. I also liked the stroll down to the river. With so much nature around one might forget to be still in Colombo. Everything was perfect. The host was very kind and friendly and gave a tour of the place. She allowed to check-in and check-out at whatever time we preferred. The place itself was kept very clean and neat. The neighborhood isn’t always very busy and is quite peaceful. It was overall and amazing stay for the price and highly recommended!
