The property was excellent as last stop before returning a rental car and an early flight. It is a newly built, clean apartment with access to some very local food outlets. Parking and instructions were easy.

The hotel offers amazing services, including the shuttle service from and to the Skopje airport, but also taxi service to other places . It is possible to check in at any time and this is extremely helpful, especially if the flight lands really late. The staff was extremely kind, helpful and available to answer any question and to help me. The room was beautiful, big, clean, with modern furniture. Breakfast was both with salty and sweet food to accomodate all the guests’ tastes. The area of the hotel is quiet and I had a really good sleep.

WE stayed 4 nights in Skopje and overall we were very pleased. There are some really good places to visit and museums to see. The problem as I see it is that the Macedonian Government or Tourist Board do no do enough to promote the Tourism Industry or advertise/promote it. I kind of fell across this location whilst searching for other spots to visit.
It is very cheap and as we travelled by plane from Turkey it was a bargain for us. The food is very good, varied and value for money and quite cheap.
I can recommend the Matya Canyon Tour combined with the cable car ride, for a little over £20 each, superb value. We also did the Kosovo daily Tour which at £51 each is slightly pricey bit was a full day and another great experience and we got to see the bear Sanctuary as well.
What I can also recommend for a place to stay is the Hotel Senegallia, which is like a galleon situated on the river. It is really cozy, has a great bar and food and the staff were really friendly and helpful,

There is much to be desired regarding the maintenance and cleanliness of the city. The unique shopping areas, built during the Yugoslavian period are not fully utilized and would be an attractive place if renovated and used properly.

The city itself requires max a day, then you have seen everything, all the museums, statues etc. The city is generally dirty, they need to be better to clean the city up from trash and stray cats and dogs.
