Set on the stunning island of Vagaru in the secluded Shaviyani atoll, JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa can be reached via a 55-minute scenic seaplane flight from Velana International airport. Amazing resort with 5 restaurants, excellent fitness and yoga sessions offered complimentary twice per day, beautiful gym and fantastic water villas. We particularly enjoyed the fitness and yoga sessions led by Vishnu and the attentive service of our butler Naawish. We also really enjoyed the library in the business centre which was our evening hangout. The beaches at the resort were also top notch. Crystal clear turquoise water.

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their friendliness and helpfulness were outstanding. And let's not forget the food, it was absolutely delicious! Every meal was a culinary delight. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and we highly recommend it to anyone seeking a tranquil getaway.

It was simple and peaceful, exactly what I was looking for. The breakfast is limited but did the job. The dinner offerings though, were wonderful. Chef Kathirvel, a Sri-Lankan chef cooks sumptuous food and every night I had something different and it was all delicious. Shashi and Maazin looked after me and made everything really great. I loved Gaskara so much I extended my stay by 2 nights. If you want a beautiful, friendly island, then Maroshi is for you!
