Shahid (host) is a person that sets value on good communication beforehand as well as on the trip itself. Before we came there, we chatted via WhatsApp about everything important (flights, diving license, prices etc.). That helped a lot because we felt informed all the way through. I wanted to dive, but my girlfriend cannot. So, she could stay on the boat, could do some snorkeling while I was diving. Shahid managed everything and paid much attention on us feeling good. We could ask him anything at any time. The stay at La Cabana was way better than expected because of the very personal contact to the super-friendly staff. All in all, the staff works in a very professional way, is reliable, open-minded, funny and makes you think of cancelling your flight back. :) We definitely would recommend staying at La Cabana. If you are looking for a family-like guesthouse offering many awesome diving and snorkeling trips, you should book here.

Located in Maamigili, Maaniya Palace offers 3-star accommodation with free bikes, a terrace and a restaurant. We were relocated to this hotel after our original well-marketed hotel on the same island was overbooked, despite our early booking and confirmation. This hotel has far exceeded our expectations. The room was spotless, spacious, with a balcony, ample lighting, and a lovely bath with a shower. Daily water and coffee were offered, and cleaning services were excellent. The staff was incredibly polite, friendly, and helpful—from reception & restaurant team to managers & cleaners. We were consistently offered assistance, from rides to Bikini Beach to food and amenities. The perfect balance of personal space and attentive service made our stay incredibly relaxing. Although we didn’t take any excursions (as we just wanted to enjoy the ocean), the hotel also offers various trips, snorkeling, diving, and experiences with whale sharks, mantas, and coral reefs, with equipment provided. We loved the hotel so much that when our original booking became available, we chose to stay here instead. The breakfast, dinner and local Maldivian meals were good & filling. The hotel’s restaurant offers a diverse menu, with local, Sri Lankan, European, and South Asian dishes, plus desserts. It’s also open to guests from other hotels & locals, all of whom we've seen coming a lot. Our return trip to Male was flawlessly organized through the hotel, with staff assisting with luggage and escorting us to the jetty. We highly recommend this hotel and its fantastic staff! We’re now eager to return and explore the Maldives' stunning underwater world.

Located in Maamigili, Oi Beach provides air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. This guest house features a garden. Kiki the owner could not have been more amazing. Right when I got there, he picked me up, got me a coconut and said welcome to the island, you are a local now - anything you need, I will help you. He took me to his grandmothers house for dinner two different times. I got to attend a big family gathering of there and he helped me with my scuba arrangements and my jet boat transportation. An absolutely amazing human and a great place to stay.

The staff is friendly, everyone is very helpful, smiling, they respond immediately to requests. The rooms are spacious, beautiful, modern, all accessories are available (tooth brushes, pasta, gels, shampoos, hair dryer, beach towels). The food is excellent! Big choice, everything is delicious. We had full board The beach is in 10 minutes on foot. If you wish, you can make use of the shuttle service at your convenience. But we liked to walk. Excursions were also booked at the hotel. We met a whale shark, we caught big fish, which we were prepared for dinner on request. The successful location of the island, on the state ferry, went to see other islands. Everything is great, thanks for the hospitality!.

Set in Maamigili, White Sand Inn has a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. Nice manager and Service give awesome experience and great breakfast. The room is clean and comfortable and the AC .shower is convenient. And well done. The activity we ordered has super surprised. Every time the landlord picks us up to go to the speedboat that’s very kind .Six days is so short for a nice invitation. So I think I will back in the future.
