Luisa and Paul were perfect hosts and welcomed us warmly to their lovely home. Both their guest rooms are simple, stylish and comfortable, surrounded by lush vegetation. There was plenty of hot water and a large comfy bed.
The garden and pool are beautiful. We felt cocooned in a canopy of tall green plants, full of birdsong, perfect for swimming, reading and relaxing.
Paul’s organic breakfasts were splendid and varied each day, with plenty of coffee and lots of fresh fruit.
A real highlight was getting to know Paul and Luisa a little, which made our stay really special. They gave us a really good feel for the area and also recommended a couple of excellent local restaurants within walking distance; for many others and our favourite beaches we took taxis, which were easy to find and cheap.
We found it very hard to leave this calm oasis and would love to return!

The staff is so friendly, the facilities are clean and always taken care of and they thought about everything considering your comfortable stay and having a good time in the hostel and in the area as well. They give you tips for activities in the area, they organise a lot of events in the hostel and around the area. They are trying to maintain a comunity, not just a place to stay overnight. We ended up extending our atay just because of all theae factors!

The room was exactly like the photo, our night here was great! I didn’t notice earlier, but the hotel turned out to have a swimming pool - you can take a dip in the heat during the day after a shower - and there is also a children’s pool.

Puerto Escondido is a superb coastal location with such a relaxed vibe. People are friendly. There are beaches for surfing and others for swimming avd sunbathing.
The marine life is in abundance and many tour companies that can help organise excellent tours for dolphins, whales and turtle watching.
Puerto Escondido is a great place to spend a few days after Oaxaca.

I love Puerto Escondido and didn’t want to leave. It was so beautiful there. Lots of options for restaurants, shopping, etc. I like that it’s not super built up resort wise. Everyone was friendly and we felt safe. It was simply magical and I would love to make it home one day.

Hotel Kuaa was the perfect spot for our stay in Puerto Escondido. The staff is attentive and facilitated everything we needed while we were there, from taxis to in room massage to even calling a doctor when one of us got sick. The location of the hotel is super convenient, right on the beach, but also removed enough from the main party scene that it feels secluded and relaxing. Highly recommend staying here

Its a place for surfing so dont expect to get in the sea everywhere because the waves are high in parts of the beaches, but its beautiful to look at this and you can go to sailing with dolphins and turtles. Parties and nightlife more in la punta.

Very nice staff, very correct single rooms with a high water pressure in the showers (a rarity in PXM!), decent prices. Much better than other hostels in the area. Great staff (thank you Becca and Pato and all the others which name I don’t remember).
