The location is excellent if you are flying into/out of Zihuatanejo airport - a 3-minute walk from the hotel. The staff went the extra mile to make my stay comfortable. For example, as all the restaurants nearby were closed, they helped me order food for delivery. When the delivery did not arrive, they drove me to a local restaurant and waited to drive me back to the hotel.

The views and beach are outstanding. The rooms are fit for a king. Peace and quiet. Falling to sleep listening to waves was heaven. The pools are great. The staff were welcoming and friendly. This place is magical; I love the vibe, and Sebastian and Samara were super helpful and nice. I work remotely, and the internet works perfectly! So, if you're looking for a cool place to stay and chill or if you're a digital nomad, I 100% recommend this place.
I stayed one night in the glampings because I was alone, and the experience was really fun! You can hear the ocean and the nature, which is quite relaxing and enjoyable. Later, a friend joined me, and we stayed in the bungalows, which are really beautiful! I slept like a baby.
Also, the area is beautiful; you have the beach a 1-minute walk away and a store where you can buy anything. If you stay here, make sure not to miss the sunsets and watching the stars! Lastly, a 45-minute walk or a 5-minute drive will take you to Potosí to surf or kayak in Laguna de Potosí while enjoying birdwatching.

It's a small, quiet place.
It's a small, quiet place. All people we met were very friendly.
Pretty basic stores to buy food. Mostly just snacks for sale.
It's a beautiful place, but a lot of areas are covered with garbage and broken down houses.
It seems a peaceful place. But we didn't see a policeman the whole time. We were told there is no municipal government there, everybody does essentially what they want (i.e. nobody bothers with permits for building, etc.) One long-term resident called it the "wild west." But that's why they liked it.

Ixtapa is obviously focused on the tourist money. Taxi service is good, but bus schedules are sketchy. If you come to go fishing, you can take a taxi to the Zihuantanejo harbor for 150 pesos. I recommend finding a good taxi driver, as we did, and get his card and use the same driver for all your travel needs. Ixtapa has limited shopping for groceries, but Zihuantanejo has a Sams club and larger grocery stores. The Delfiniti Swim with Dolphins venue has gone downhill and is very expensive. There is limited beach access, but the large hotels now claim their beaches as private.
Dining is costly so come prepared! Be prepared for hot temps with lots of humidity! The tourist trap tours offered are also costly.

Zihua is a real Mexican town that us white people have invaded. I am sure they are just as happy amongst themselves, but we pay their utilities. If you want a glitzy hotel, go up to Ixtapa or Cabo. If you have the fortitude, Zihua has more than just tacos and salsa.

It is a beautiful tropical area. I felt very safe. Easy to get around in. Beautiful walkways, and bicycle paths. Driving around is very easy. I will be making this a permanent destination. There's plenty of fun and interesting things to do for the whole family!

Consistent hot day or night. Easy and safe to get around. Lots of resorts to pick from. Beaches are clean and no seaweed. Zihuatanejo is a short cab ride away to visit and shop in. Tons to great restaurants near Miramar Beach Zihuatanejo. El Vado is an awesome little boutique restaurant highly recommend. Food is priced right and is excellent!
