Located on the banks of the Zambezi River, Protea Hotels Zambezi River offers air-conditioned rooms with a flat-screen TV. Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, a tour desk, and car rental. The location is right by the river and the grounds are excellent. The room has all the facilities you would expect including a television which was a bonus. The wi-fi was also good and available in the room not just in the restaurant and reception. The man on reception was very helpful and allowed us to check in early as the room was ready. This really helped us and was much appreciated.

Definitely the best place to stay on our trip. All staff are very friendly. It was nice and intersting to talk with them. The location directly at the river is great. There are a lot of sitting areas directly at the river. We had been in contact with Brenda already long time before our arrival.

Viewing platform looking over the Zambezi gives a lovely view of the river with Namibia 500m away on the distance. Breakfast was good and the chef produced some excellent evening meals. Many thanks to the staff who went the extra mile to sort out a shared taxi for my journey on to Kasane.
