Etango Ranch Guest Farm is situated just 10 minutes' drive away from Windhoek International Airport in a rural property. Very close to the airport for an early morning flight. But also a peaceful, quiet spot in the bush with the usual game to see. The dinner was both tasty and well-presented. We would have loved to stay and have breakfast, but since we were leaving the property at 6 am, we enjoyed a pleasant pre-packed breakfast instead.

Starting from outside with stunning layout of the entire place and surroundings, inside the house is equipped with everything needed to run a house, during our stay everything we needed was available to us and with so much privacy. The lighting at night is beyond beautiful especially in the Gypsy wagon room where the kids felt like father Christmas came early. We enjoyed every single minute of our stay and we hope to come back again. The host treated us to surprise easter egg hunt which we absolutely enjoyed and goes hand in hand with the surprise I had for my partner who later left the place as my fiancée. Sybille constantly checked up on us and asked us if we needed anything, she would make an appointment in time if she wants to come over, respecting our space and privacy at most. In summary: Our stay at Bella tiny house was enchanting and fulfilling, from its captivating exterior to its well-equipped interior and magical night time ambiance, creating unforgettable memories for both adults and children alike, leaving us eager to return.

I really appreciated the warm welcome from the staff — everyone was friendly and greeted me with a smile. My hut was clean and comfortable, and waking up to the sound of birds in the morning was truly refreshing. The food was also excellent; I really enjoyed my stay overall.

Three big bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, plus an upstairs with a big table and a patio where we could watch birds and the occasional mammal. The food was great, huge portions or big buffet. It’s on a part of the game reserve with no dangerous animals so you can walk around safely. We saw ostriches, antelopes, hyrax and hare while walking or looking out our window. It’s part of a nonprofit that’s working to preserve and protect animals while working with the local community. We did the “Behind the scenes tour” which was really interesting and fun, loved the baboon walk! Really glad we stayed here!

Windhoek Rural Self Catering ligger ca. 23 km fra National Botanical Gardens Windhoek og har en terrasse, gårdhave og bjergudsigt. Vi opholdt os her den sidste nat inden vi skulle med flyveren videre til Cape Town. Super nemt næste morgen. Værtsparret var superskønne og hjertevarme uden lige. Vi følte også virkelig hjemme og blev passet så godt på. Børnene har nu en namibisk bedstemor ;-)

Trans Kalahari Inn ligger 22 km fra Windhoek Hosea Kutako Internationale Lufthavn og tilbyder indkvartering med udsigt over Auas-bjerget. Super beliggenhed for at nyde den sidste dag inden afrejse. God restaurant på stedet.

The farm was so nice stop to relax after longhaul flight! This place is for those who loves animals! Staff was really kind, and made a lot efforts for us. Room was clean and we had a lot space. The pool was clean, but there was no sunchairs.

A beautiful, quiet getaway. Communication was beyond great. We had questions that were answered super fast and when we needed to come late we were accommodated. Lots of really well thought out things in the room (power adaptor, games, good wifi ect).

Really fabulous. All the staff were very warm and welcoming. The lodge is exceptional, the food is excellent and we had a very relaxing stay.

Our bungalow was very well designed. Enough space for bags and suitcases, enough hooks and rails for hanging towels in the bathroom. The lighting at the beds was excellent for reading. Nice and spacious. Well done to the architect and builders.

Dinner and breakfast were delicious and well prepared by the staff. Staff were very welcoming and present and always ready to help (found us a hair dryer, gave advice on surrounding area, always friendly). Room was in a separate cabin which was nice and quiet. Views were amazing. Location great for early day in Windhoek.
