Etango Ranch Guest Farm is situated just 10 minutes' drive away from Windhoek International Airport in a rural property. We stayed one night at the farm following a long day and night of travelling from London. It was absolutely perfect. The setting is cosy and the gardens are full of an incredible variety of colourful birds. Listening to their song whilst sipping a beer was delightful. The chalet rooms are basic but super clean and perfectly comfortable. The staff are helpful, friendly and cheerful. The lady who cooked our dinner and breakfast is amazing and we enjoyed both meals. Thank you Etango Ranch, we’d love to come again one day.

Located in Ondekaremba, a 1-hour drive from Windhoek, Zannier Omaanda provides accommodation set within a 9000-hectare private wildlife reserve. Everything was perfect. The staff members were incredibly friendly , attentive and helpful. The views are just stunning, the room was so beautiful. The members of the staff had offered us lighting up the fireplace, which we had and it gave such a cozy vibes. We loved staying at Zannier Omaanda.

Three big bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, plus an upstairs with a big table and a patio where we could watch birds and the occasional mammal. The food was great, huge portions or big buffet. It’s on a part of the game reserve with no dangerous animals so you can walk around safely. We saw ostriches, antelopes, hyrax and hare while walking or looking out our window. It’s part of a nonprofit that’s working to preserve and protect animals while working with the local community. We did the “Behind the scenes tour” which was really interesting and fun, loved the baboon walk! Really glad we stayed here!

Spent one of the best evenings at any Booking.com properties went to so far, as I was received like family by Chris and Chrisna. The food wasabsolutely delicious, the humour great, the discussions were interesting to get a flavor of Namibia. Conveniently located close to the airport, the large studio with several beds has its own kitchen, coffee machine, shower and a view to die for. What else to ask for, after a late flight into Windhoek! Chris picked me up at the airport after driving himself for an entire day, and it all felt like being taken care of by your own family. Fabulous experience, I recommend to all airport-goers!

Featuring accommodation overlooking Auas Mountain, Trans Kalahari Inn is located 22 km from Windhoek Hosea Kutako International Airport. It offers an outdoor swimming pool, sports bar and free Wi-Fi. The rooms where clean and stuff are friendly , Laudia was the best host and I look forward to my next stay.
