My husband was just out of hospital and we needed more help than usual. The staff were excellent, lent us the hotel wheelchair, helped with luggage and transporting us to the airport building.

Location - very close to airport. Breakfast was great, staff very fruendly. The room was big enough and bed ok (a bit too soft to my liking but I'm use to that in hotels). Enough space to wkrk in the lobby.

When I arrived into Bergen airport, I wanted to quickly get checked into a hotel, since the flight arrived late. Scandic Flesland was ideally located, since it was a very short walk to the hotel. The reception staff were helpful in giving me information on how to get to Bergen. I liked that I had access to the rooftop. I was able to take a few photos of the area. Since it was close to the longest day of the year at a very northern latitude, it was still quite bright close to midnight, almost an hour after sunset. I liked that the curtains to the room blocked out the outside light to allow me to get to sleep. The breakfast was filling. I liked that the Scandic hotel is environmentally conscious. They were the first hotel to encourage guests to hang up towels if they don’t want them washed. They also try to discourage food waste. They encourage guests to make several trips to the buffet table, instead of loading your plate with too much food. Food waste is a major environmental issue, so it is good to see a hotel showing a small lead on this issue. There was a gym, although I didn’t have the opportunity to use it during a one night stay. I also liked that you could see arrival and departure information for Bergen airport at reception.

Only some 12 minutes' drive to/ from the airport. Got good sleep after flights. Staff are helpful. Breakfast is very good.

The breakfast buffet is the best of all hotels in Bergen! The variety is enormous and it has gluten- and laktose free components. 🤩🥰 The bedding is so very comfortable that I seriously thought of asking to buy a set of pillow and duvet. 🤩

Situated within the Ytrebygda district in Bergen, New apartment 5min to airport at Kokstad train station has air conditioning, a patio, and quiet street views.
