Set in the Skjæringa area of Longyearbyen, Mary-Ann's Polarrigg is built with old rigs. Central Longyearbyen is between 6-8 minutes walk away and the airport bus stops right in front of the hotel. Fabulous and fun (in a unique and funky way) lodgings. Great breakfast and restaurant room atmosphere. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Comfortable rooms and beds. Lounge area was also very comfortable for gathering. So convenient to main part of town.

It is spacious for 4 of us and clean. Well equipped amenities. The instruction for check in is clear and the host is accessible by whatsapp and reply swiftly. They even provide shed to store our luggage after check out which is very generous.

Centrally located in Longyearbyen, Basecamp Hotel is a traditional trapper's lodge-style property just 15 minutes’ drive from Longyearbyen Airport. The airport bus stops right outside. Loved the style, atmosphere and the breakfast is out of this world at the end of the world

The facilities in the rooms were quite satisfactory. There were two bathrooms which was a relief. The restaurants are very close. It was wonderful being there.

A small guesthouse, 4 rooms and living room/kitchen, very clean, rooms with several beds, but accessible as singles. Fully equipped kitchen with anything you might need for your stay. Decent price, close to the city center, near the University, a few minutes walk from the bus station, 10 minutes to the supermarket and the city center. The very kind and friendly staff were there for any need, including suggesting trips or helping us with a taxi. Special thanks to Julia, with whom we tried for two nights to meet Aurora and did not give up until we were successful! I will come back to Longyearbyen with great pleasure and will definitely stay at Ruskiy Dom!

Situated in Longyearbyen, within 1.3 km of Svalbard Church, Haugen Pensjonat Svalbard offers accommodation with free WiFi. Built in 1985, the property is within 2.1 km of Svalbard Museum. Staff are absolutely wonderful, the place was spotless, we felt right at home. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you!!

This hotel is situated on the island of Spitsbergen, in Norway’s Arctic Archipelago, Svalbard. It offers stunning views, free WiFi and free afternoon treats. Access to a relaxation area is also free. This is fabulous hotel on the edge of town - the staff were a highlight, from my checkin with Richard to the incredibly warm and helpful Tina and other receptionist from the UK, and really great bar staff Davide, Tito, and Tartour who were genuinely friendly and as interested in the landscape and all Svalbard has to offer. The company is fortunate to have such great staff! The hotel was perfectly cosy and inviting as were its staff! The n. lights can be seen from the back of the hotel - it was perfect.
