Torp Hotel lies next to Motorway E18 and 5 minutes’ drive from Sandefjord Airport, Torp. It offers an early breakfast, free private parking and rooms with a flat-screen TV. hotel very close to the airport, we arrived late in the evening and there was staff at the reception waiting for us. Comfortable rooms (for the hairdryer ask at the reception) and breakfast from sweet to savory really large and delicious. positive note is the kindness of the staff. The lady at the reception helped us with the taxi reservation (departure with flight at 6 - the lady advised us to go to the airport only an hour before because it is a small airport and opens late, also the check in and boarding are very fast). and helped us with useful information. You can get there by bus 176 (Fokserød stop) which is right in front of the hotel (as soon as you get off the bus you see the sign). Nearby there is a petrol station open at night with food and drinks and a mac donalds). At the same stop stops the bus from Oslo busstatjon. Excellent place for those traveling on torp.

The location was perfect, with food shops being within 15 minutes walk. The town nearby was beautiful and lots of lovely walks available too if that’s more your style. The kitchen was picturesque, the fire place was a lovely bonus although we didn’t need it. The host seem very approchable and happy to help if we needed it. Streaming services on the TV were good and the beds were so soft! Everything about the property was perfect, if we come back to this lovely town, we will be coming back here!

We could use the car charger which was very useful. Good situation in the way from/to the Larvik ferry. We only stayed 1 night so did not see Sandefjord.
