The scenery is awe inspiring. The peace and quiet is invigorating. Amazing views and walks along the river to a fantastic view of Mt Cook. The night sky is absolutely amazing.

Featuring garden views, Mount Cook Station Shearers Quarters Lodge in Lake Tekapo features accommodation, a garden, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. Amazing location, far away from crowds, beautiful to just enjoy the nature. Room and common spaces were clean and well equipped. Not that we didnt like, but there is a bit of a drive to get to the house, but worth it :)

At Haka House Aoraki - Mt Cook, adventure and comfort merge in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Has a sauna, they also provide shampoo, conditioner etc. and the common areas are really nice and comfy

Aoraki Court Motel is a modern accommodation located in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. All units feature great views of surrounding mountains and Mount Sefton. spacious and beautiful location

Set in Mount Cook National Park, a range of accommodation including motel rooms and lodge rooms are on offer at Mt Cook Lodge and Motels. I love the balcony so much! Unluckily, we stayed in this motel for 3 day and 2 night and it was raining since the second day of living. However, we can still enjoy the wonderful balcony view all the time. Parking space is very adequate, and the restaurant view there is also wonderful.

Situated in Mount Cook National Park and offering beautiful mountain views, Aoraki Mount Cook Alpine Lodge is a 5-minute walk from Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre. It's a very cousy lodge. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Set in Mount Cook National Park, The Hermitage Hotel features a range of rooms and suites all offering majestic mountain views, and most with views of Mount Cook. Wonderful location and stunning views surrounding hotel. Nice personnel in reception, clean and comfortable room.

Featuring a hot tub, Silo House is set in Lake Tekapo. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The apartment has a terrace and a hot tub. This was an amazing place to stay. A wonderful secluded location on a huge farm in the middle of the Dark Sky Preserve with views of mountains all around. Very unique details such as a switch to change the sky lights from opaque to transparent for looking at the stars and a private hot tub which is very clean with no chemicals. The beautifully constructed Silo has the conveniences you need for cooking and washing clothes. The owners were very welcoming and made us feel at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here while visiting the Lake Tekapo area.

Clean and comfortable - what you are really there for is the experience. Chris was wonderful to deal with, the fire roaring when we arrived, and staying on a working sheep farm is a unique experience.
