Fiordland Discovery offers a scenic overnight boat cruise around New Zealand's iconic Milford Sound. One of the top things we did on our 5 week journey in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. Couldn’t recommend enough. It was so special to stay in the sound for a night, only our boat. We went kayaking and there was no one else there. Morning cruise when the sun was rising and we were the only boat there… will never forget this. When we come back, we’ll definitely book an overnight cruise again.

What a charming little spot! We only spent a night here but I would gladly go back. We had dinner in the restaurant but the self catering facilities were really nice, and our twin room was very cute and comfortable. We used their track transport service for the Caples-Greenstone track and it could not have been smoother and more convenient….our little rental car would have definitely not enjoyed a couple of the fords on the way.

Breakfast was delicious. I requested a small of salad on my breakfast and the chef added in. Thank you so much , we really enjoyed our stay.

Everything about this property was exceptional. Very pleased we made a last minute decision to stay here. Only wish we could have stayed longer than the 2 nights we had. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay perfect- they were super friendly and even helped me get a package that arrived late. I would definitely stay here again if back in the area. It is great proximity to lots of hiking trails but right in town so there is still access to restaurants. The room itself was very cutely decorated.
