Jen was an absolutely amazing host. We greatly enjoyed sharing our stories and chatting over a pot of tea. She and her husband have some wonderful stories to tell, and are very eager to hear about yours as well! The house with no nails itself is incredibly beautiful and the craftsmanship is unmatched. Breakfast was wonderful, and we loved spending some time with the other travelers staying in the house. I would highly recommend staying here, especially if you are going to the Hobbiton experience as the house’s style fits beautifully with the Hobbit look! Overall we will not forget our time here as it was one of the best stays in New Zealand!

Cherie and Gary have gone above and beyond with this copy little gem. Very comfortable, quiet and extremely clean cabin. Cherie has thought of every possible thing to make our stay wonderful, from a delicious breakfast to little personal packs with Toothpaste, brush etc. Amazing! Loved it and highly recommend.

We could see the cows in the paddock when we arrived and even from the lounge area and some of the bedroom windows. The area is also quaint and quiet with great sunset views. The place has everything you need for a short stay and a short drive from Hobbiton and the Blue Springs.

Maria is a beautiful, accommodating host, who really went above and beyond for our stay. A gorgeous continental breakfast was waiting for us, with some extra goodies for the kids. Maria even provided us with food for their friendly alpacas so the kids could feed them - which they absolutely loved.
The accommodation itself was spacious, clean, really comfortable, with games and pool table; great for our teens. The beds were super comfortable and warm, and there was plenty of room for our family of 9 to sit and eat.
This was the perfect stay for our stop-over to visit Hobbiton, and we are so grateful to Maria for her gorgeous hospitality.

Fantastic property. Modern, clean, comfortable. Really well furnished, well stocked. Supplied quite a few breakfast things, snacks and tea/coffee goodies which was brilliant. Washing facilities (washer, dryer, laundry sink, washing line). Spacious. Comfortable. Great value for money. Highly recommend.

It was immaculate and beautiful! Such a cosy and welcoming space, with a lovely addition of breakfast! Linda welcomed us and we had a lovely chat, she introduced us to some of her family and gave some advice to stop at Kiwi House, which we did (and saw a Kiwi!).
The bed was comfortable, especially once we switched on the heated blankets. Overall 10/10, we almost wish we stayed an extra night!
