Ascot Oamaru Motel is one of Oamaru's largest motel complexes only minutes by car to the town centre, shops, Blue Penguin Colony, Oamaru Racecourse, Centennial Park and the Historic Oamaru Precinct. Property was clean and bed was very comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, will stay here again.

Offering free WiFi, barbecue facilities and a sunny terrace, Colonial Lodge Motel is just 10 minutes’ drive from Oamaru Beach. We are so happy when we enter the unit. Very tidy, clean n in order. We love everything in the motel. The kitchen at it,s designated area( best with dish drainer ), the spacious toilet ( best if the water pressure is stronger ) and the comfortable linen ( bed could be too soft if u are not young ). We were given room 1 which was just beside the road. I thought it would be noisy but surprisingly not. Overall, we are really happy staying here. Too bad we only stay one night here. My children wish we can stay more night.

Rose is like our mom. She ensured we had everything we needed, helping us reheat our pie and even dressing it up with her homemade plum sauce, which turned a simple market meal into a feast. Her home is incredibly tidy and cozy—you can't even find a speck of dirt on the bathroom walls. Her cats are friendly and sweet, and I’m sure even people who don’t typically like cats would be charmed by them. Rose’s place truly made my trip more enjoyable and memorable.

I loved being on the working farm with the alpacas, sheep, chickens, etc!!!
